Supportive Community Groups
Regular Grief Support Groups
The grief support groups are for those looking to connect and support each other in a group environment. Individuals provide encouragement during their time of grief and share their stories while uplifting one another. Support groups are limited to a maximum of 7 persons due to space and the sensitive nature of loss. Please contact the Grief & Bereavement Resource Center, Inc. for more information.
Special Grief Groups
Special Groups for Vision Board/Scrapbook along with completing a draft to publish a Poem Book or a Personal Book (Grief Story), Scrapbook, and/or Vision Board are included in the price.
All special groups will be scheduled monthly with adjustments as needed. Individuals will be responsible for completing their projects.
No refunds will be given. Please ensure you are dedicated before purchasing any group. You will be responsible for purchasing your items for the special group or purchasing from the organization.
For a Poem or Personal Story, a referral to a local publisher will be provided. It is your responsibility to contact the publisher and discuss their pricing options. Specialized Support Groups
GLIT Book Club
The book club is Grief Is Life Transitioning, LLC; a partnership with the Grief & Bereavement Resource Center, Inc. Each month a book will be picked and discussed. We bring the community together to engage in an inspirational conversation of encouragement and positive feedback to learn about and discuss things that matter to us.
Widows of Veterans and Widow Veterans Grief Support Group
Males and Females meet bi-weekly every Monday beginning June 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Grief Is Life Transitioning, L.L.C is an online education platform for the virtual community that works in collaboration with Grief & Bereavement Resource Center, Inc., a vital 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Columbia, South Carolina. Together they offer services focusing on educating and providing emotional, mental, and financial support to the community in need, through a one-stop community center.
