The Culture of Death

Different cultures and religious beliefs approach death in various ways. Some people view the death experience as potentially involving suffering or physical pain. Cerit (2019) states that people’s beliefs, shaped by their culture and religion, along with the experiences of others related to death, can significantly affect their attitudes toward dying.
